The outdoor furniture created by the Metal.Car. metalworking shop for the municipality of Limone Piemonte is a work that celebrates the area’s mountain identity and the activities that define it. The structure, made entirely of Corten steel with white-painted sections, is arranged across three distinct levels, each with a specific meaning.
The first floor welcomes visitors with the sign “Welcome to Limone Piemonte,” a warm invitation to discover the area’s beauty.
The second level features silhouettes of skiers and cyclists, symbols of the sports practiced in Limone both in winter and summer, highlighting the town’s dynamism and vitality. Finally, the third level is dedicated to the mountain landscape, featuring the peaks surrounding Limone, crafted from Corten steel with white details that accentuate their contours.
The entire structure blends harmoniously into its surroundings, thanks to the use of Corten steel, a material that echoes the colors of the rock and blends seamlessly with the natural environment.
Street furniture not only beautifies public spaces, but also serves as a point of reference for tourists and residents, telling the story of Limone Piemonte’s history and traditions.
