Set against the picturesque hilly landscape of Guarene, the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation has sponsored the creation of an innovative playground designed to blend harmoniously with the surrounding natural environment. The project was conceived as an outdoor recreational space for children, combining contemporary design, functionality, and sustainability.
The area, situated along a green slope, runs parallel to a scenic walking path. The difference in elevation has been transformed into a creative opportunity, with the addition of play structures that follow the natural contours of the terrain.
All of the stainless steel elements in the park—including the swing sets and the sinuous metal curves leading to the tunnels—were manufactured by Metal. Car., a company specializing in custom stainless steel fabrication. The choice of stainless steel not only ensures durability and weather resistance but also lends a modern and refined look that blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings.
